3.3x when a customer comes back. Neosupps counts customers with Adverfly, not orders. 🔁

We have been working together since 2023, since day one. And every day another step forward.
Uwe Schüder(aka Flying Uwe) · Founder, Smilodox & NeosuppsThis is the shop. 🥤
Whey, creatine, vitamins: a tub lasts a few weeks, then it is bought again. The value of a customer is not in the first order but in the ones that follow, and that is where the ad platforms stop looking.

And if leg day deserves something better than the usual tub, this way shop Neosupps
One purchase says little. The CLV says what a customer is worth. 💰
Meta and TikTok judge a campaign by what it sells today. A supplements brand earns on the third tub, not the first.
- A customer was judged by the first basketWhoever bought one tub looked as valuable as whoever would buy twelve.
- Repeat purchases showed up nowhereThe second and third order were direct or email in the reports, not part of the campaign that started them.
- New and returning customers in one potThe platforms optimised on people who were going to reorder anyway.
- Two brands, the same questionWhat is a customer really worth? Neosupps needed the system too, to see the real CLV and decide on it.
The customer with their CLV, not the single order. 👤
First, every purchase belongs to a customer. Then each customer gets a value over time. And Meta and TikTok get separate signals for the people arriving for the first time and those coming back for more.
Tracking
Every purchase knows its customer
- An anonymised customer id on every purchase the pixel sees, e.g. the first order or the fifth. That is what makes long-term analysis per customer possible.
- Meta and TikTok counted by this model, not by their own reports.
The measure
A CLV over twelve months
- Cohorts by month and by channel, e.g. what a customer won in March is worth by next March.
- Customers due for a repeat order are grouped automatically, ready for the channels to work with.
Back to the platforms
Optimised on the right event
- New and returning customers go back to Meta and TikTok server-side as two different events.
- Journeys show which channel brings a customer and which one turns them into a repeat buyer.
A customer is worth more than the till shows. 🔁
The figures come from the pixel data of the Neosupps workspace, August 2024 to September 2026. The published metrics are ratios, shares and the median time to a second purchase, based on recorded pixel activity.
Whoever comes back is worth 3.3x
Whoever comes back is worth 3.3 times their first order within a year, and the best of them seven times. The more often someone orders, the steeper it gets. So the question is not what a customer is worth on average, it is which ad brings the ones who come back.
The repeat buyer comes fast
Nearly one in three customers comes back, and the median gap is about two months: exactly when a tub runs out. A reminder at that point is not marketing, it is service.
Which ad brings them back?
A click is easy to buy. It gets interesting afterwards: for the strongest ad in the comparison, more than one in three customers comes back; for the weakest, around one in six. That takes the budget question beyond the first basket: which customers will order again?
The next steps on the same foundation. 🧭

Illustrative for one brand at 10 Mio. € annual revenue. Adverfly: Managed Infrastructure, billed yearly — flat price, no revenue share. The comparison uses list prices of the tiers such a brand lands on, or typical retainers, rounded, plus half an engineering role for pipelines and upkeep — that work is priced in on the Adverfly side. Vendors named in the rows illustrate the capability; the total is not a price quote for any single product. As of September 2026.
What actually changed. ✨
| Area | Before | After | With |
|---|---|---|---|
| The measure | An ordinary purchase like any other. | Not the purchase, but the customer with their CLV over twelve months. | |
| New customers | Judged by the first basket. | Judged by what a customer is really worth, so more can be invested in them on data. | |
| Repeat purchases | Direct or email in the reports. | Counted for the channel that started the customer. | |
| The platforms | Optimised on people who reorder anyway. You could just as well throw the budget out of the window. | New and returning customers as two events, server-side, so the budget stops going to people who would buy anyway. |

AYLASHESOne of the first brands to bet on real omni-channel tracking instead of platform self-reporting, with creators measured the same way as every paid channel.
Blume IdealIn the first month, Blume Ideal found €40,000 in Meta spend with no revenue showing up in its shop measurement. That look behind the platform reports is why Adverfly stayed.
Medizen DigitalMedizen sells course places, not products, on a platform it built itself. An off-the-shelf shop plugin was not going to do the job. So the tracking was tailored to their platform, rather than working around it.
SmilodoxSmilodox came for one thing: numbers they could rely on. Five channels, creators and organic now run on one measure, and the creative analysis reads what is in an ad instead of only what it is called.
glouragloura tracked its creators with discount codes alone. The numbers were wrong in both directions until link and code were counted together.
