Key Features

  • Five Attribution Models: Choose from Last Click, First Click, Linear, U-Shaped, or Total Impact
  • Multi-Touch Paths: See the full sequence of touchpoints before each conversion
  • Model Comparison: Compare how different attribution models allocate credit across channels
  • Channel Contribution: Understand each channel's role as an introducer, influencer, or closer
  • Exclusion Rules: Exclude specific channels or touchpoint types from attribution

How It Works

Attribution reconstructs user journeys from pixel tracking data, then applies your chosen model to distribute conversion credit across touchpoints. Each model uses different rules for how credit is split.

Attribution Models Explained

  • Last Click: 100% credit to the final touchpoint before conversion
  • First Click: 100% credit to the first touchpoint in the journey
  • Linear: Equal credit distributed across all touchpoints

Getting Started

  1. Ensure your pixel tracks all relevant touchpoints
  2. Open Attribution and select a model
  3. Review channel contributions and compare models
  4. Use insights to inform budget decisions

Marketing Mix Modeling

Enterprise

Model the impact of different marketing channels on your business outcomes.

Marketing Mix ModelingComing Soon

Overview

Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) measures the true incremental impact of every marketing channel using Bayesian statistics. Unlike click-based attribution, MMM considers both online and offline channels — including seasonality, weather, trends, and macroeconomic factors — to provide a complete picture of how your marketing mix drives revenue.

Key Features

  • Revenue Decomposition: Waterfall chart showing how total revenue breaks down into base sales, seasonality, and each channel's contribution
  • Historical ROI vs. Marginal ROI: Understand why a channel can be efficient overall but at its scaling limit
  • Saturation Curves: Hill function curves showing diminishing returns for each channel, with your current operating point marked
  • Budget Optimizer: Interactive sliders to simulate "what if" budget reallocation scenarios in real time
  • Model Accuracy: R² and MAPE metrics to quantify model reliability
  • Bayesian Time Series: 95% and 80% credible interval bands on revenue predictions
  • Historical Run Comparison: Compare model results across different time periods
  • 12-Week Forecast: Revenue forecast with confidence intervals

How It Works

MMM runs a Bayesian regression model (PyMC Marketing) on your aggregated weekly data. It separates organic demand from marketing-driven demand, then estimates each channel's contribution using logistic saturation functions. The model accounts for adstock (carry-over effects), seasonality, weather, and external factors.

Key Dashboard Sections

Contribution & Decomposition

The waterfall chart shows a step-by-step breakdown from organic base revenue through seasonality effects to each paid channel's contribution.

Efficiency & Marginal ROI

Side-by-side comparison of historical ROI (total return over total spend) with marginal ROI (what the next euro would generate). A channel with high historical ROI but low mROI is near saturation.

Saturation & Diminishing Returns

Each channel has its own S-curve showing the relationship between spend and response. The current spend level is marked as the operating point.

Budget Optimizer

Interactive sliders for each channel let you simulate budget reallocation. The summary shows total spend change, projected revenue delta, and the new Marketing Efficiency Ratio.

Use Cases

  • Budget Planning: Make data-driven decisions about how to allocate budget across channels
  • Channel Evaluation: Understand the true incremental value of each channel beyond click-based metrics
  • Diminishing Returns: Identify channels that have hit saturation and where spend should be redirected
  • Unified Measurement: Combine MMM with attribution and incrementality testing for triangulated insights

Getting Started

  1. Connect your ad platforms and install the tracking pixel
  2. Ensure at least 12 weeks of historical data
  3. Contact your account manager to activate MMM for your workspace
  4. Review model results and use the budget optimizer for planning

Geo-Testing

Validate channel impact with geographic experiments — the gold standard for causal measurement.

Geo-Testing & ExperimentationComing Soon

Overview

Geo-Testing enables controlled geographic experiments to measure the true causal impact of your marketing channels. By turning ads off in specific regions and comparing against control regions, you get definitive proof of whether a channel actually drives incremental revenue.

Key Features

  • Full Test Lifecycle: Create, configure, launch, monitor, and conclude geo-lift tests from a single interface
  • AI Test Designer: Get AI-powered recommendations for optimal test design — regions, duration, and expected statistical power
  • Candidate Finder: Automatically identifies test-suitable regions based on your conversion data patterns
  • Test-Twin Pairing: Matches test regions with statistically similar control regions for reliable results
  • Power Analysis: Know in advance how long your test needs to run for statistically significant results
  • Progress Monitoring: Track test progress in real time with confidence interval updates
  • Auto-Conclusion: Tests automatically conclude when statistical significance is reached

How It Works

Geo-Testing works by creating holdout experiments: you stop advertising in specific geographic regions (test group) while continuing as normal in similar regions (control group). After the test period, the platform measures the difference in conversions between groups, isolating the causal effect of your advertising.

Test Lifecycle

  1. Design: Choose channels, regions, and duration using the AI Test Designer
  2. Launch: Pause ads in test regions (manual action in ad platforms)
  3. Monitor: Watch real-time progress with daily lift estimates
  4. Conclude: Get final results with confidence intervals and statistical significance
  5. Calibrate: Feed results back into MMM for more accurate future models

Use Cases

  • Prove Incrementality: Get causal evidence that a channel drives real revenue lift
  • MMM Calibration: Use geo-test results as Bayesian priors to improve MMM accuracy
  • Budget Justification: Provide leadership with scientific evidence for marketing investments
  • Channel Assessment: Test whether turning off a channel would actually hurt revenue

Getting Started

  1. Open Geo-Testing from the sidebar
  2. Use the Candidate Finder to identify suitable test regions
  3. Create a test using the AI Test Designer
  4. Pause ads in the selected test regions
  5. Monitor progress until the test reaches significance

  • Scenario Modeling: Test different budget scenarios and see their projected outcomes
  • External Factors: Incorporates weather, trends, and calendar events into forecasts
  • Accuracy Tracking: Historical forecast accuracy metrics to build confidence

How It Works

Forecasting combines Bayesian time-series models with your historical performance data, seasonal patterns, and external signals (weather, trends, calendar events) to produce probabilistic forecasts with confidence intervals.

Use Cases

  • Budget Planning: Set realistic monthly and quarterly budget targets
  • Goal Setting: Define KPI targets grounded in statistical projections
  • Seasonal Preparation: Anticipate and prepare for seasonal demand changes
  • Risk Assessment: Understand the range of possible outcomes, not just the expected value

Getting Started

  1. Ensure at least 12 weeks of historical data
  2. Open Forecasting from the sidebar
  3. Select a metric and time horizon
  4. Review forecasts with confidence intervals

Agents

Configure AI agents for your workspace.

AI AgentsComing Soon

Overview

Agents lets you configure AI-powered autonomous agents that can monitor, analyze, and act on your marketing data. From budget adjustments to creative management, agents execute predefined strategies based on real-time performance signals.

Key Features

  • Agent Configuration: Define agent goals, constraints, and permitted actions
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Agents continuously monitor performance data for actionable signals
  • Approval Workflows: Configure agents to require human approval or act autonomously within defined bounds
  • Action History: Full audit trail of every action an agent takes or proposes
  • Multi-Agent Support: Run multiple specialized agents for different aspects of your marketing

How It Works

Each agent operates within defined boundaries — monitoring specific metrics, evaluating against thresholds, and executing or proposing actions. You control the level of autonomy: from fully manual (agent proposes, you approve) to autonomous (agent acts within budget limits).

Use Cases

  • Budget Management: Agents that automatically shift budget between campaigns based on performance
  • Creative Rotation: Agents that pause fatigued creatives and activate new ones
  • Anomaly Response: Agents that detect performance anomalies and take corrective action
  • Scaling: Agents that identify scaling opportunities and adjust bids or budgets

  5. Activate the agent and monitor its actions

Surveys

Create and manage surveys to gather customer feedback.

SurveysComing Soon

Overview

Surveys lets you create post-purchase and on-site surveys to gather direct customer feedback. Ask customers how they discovered your brand, what influenced their purchase, and what their experience was like — all captured through the Adverfly pixel.

Key Features

  • Survey Builder: Create custom surveys with multiple question types (single choice, multiple choice, open text)
  • Post-Purchase Surveys: Trigger surveys after a conversion event (e.g., "How did you hear about us?")
  • On-Site Surveys: Display surveys on your website at configurable trigger points
  • Response Analytics: Analyze survey responses with charts and breakdowns
  • Attribution Enrichment: Use "How did you hear about us?" responses to enrich attribution data
  • Customer ID Linking: Link survey responses to customer profiles and transactions

How It Works

Surveys are embedded on your website via the Adverfly pixel (v2). When triggered, they display as a non-intrusive widget. Responses are captured as pixel events and stored alongside your marketing data, enabling correlation with acquisition channels and campaign performance.

Use Cases

  • Attribution Surveys: Ask "How did you hear about us?" to capture self-reported attribution data
  • NPS/Satisfaction: Measure customer satisfaction after purchase
  • Product Feedback: Gather feedback on specific products or experiences
  • Dark Social Attribution: Capture channels like podcasts, word-of-mouth, and influencer mentions that don't show up in analytics

Getting Started

  1. Open Surveys from the sidebar
  2. Create a new survey with your questions
  3. Configure trigger conditions (post-purchase, on-page, etc.)
  4. The survey automatically deploys via your Adverfly pixel
  5. Monitor responses in the analytics dashboard

Influencers

Manage and analyze influencer campaigns and their performance.

Influencer ManagementComing Soon

Overview

The Influencers app helps you manage influencer partnerships and track their performance alongside your paid marketing channels. Assign unique tracking links, measure conversions, and calculate true ROI for each influencer collaboration.

Key Features

  • Influencer Profiles: Manage your influencer roster with contact info, platforms, and collaboration history
  • Tracking Links: Generate unique UTM-tagged links for each influencer
  • Performance Tracking: See impressions, clicks, conversions, and revenue attributed to each influencer
  • ROI Calculation: Compare influencer cost vs. generated revenue
  • Cross-Channel Integration: View influencer performance alongside paid channel data in Insights

How It Works

Each influencer gets a unique tracking link with UTM parameters. When customers click these links and convert, the Adverfly pixel captures the attribution data. Performance metrics are then aggregated per influencer for easy comparison.

Use Cases

  • Campaign Tracking: Measure the exact ROI of each influencer collaboration
  • Partner Selection: Compare influencer performance to identify your best partners
  • Budget Allocation: Decide how much to invest in influencer marketing vs. paid channels
  • Attribution: Capture influencer-driven conversions that would otherwise be attributed to direct/organic

Getting Started

  1. Open Influencers from the sidebar
  2. Add your influencer partners
  3. Generate unique tracking links for each collaboration
  4. Share links with influencers and track performance

News

Stay up to date with the latest news and trends in your industry.

Industry NewsComing Soon

Overview

The News app aggregates industry-relevant news from global sources and correlates it with your marketing performance. Understand how external events — competitor launches, industry shifts, market trends — affect your business.

Key Features

  • Industry News Feed: Curated news articles relevant to your industry vertical

  • Impact Correlation: See how specific news events correlate with performance changes
  • MMM Integration: News event data feeds into Marketing Mix Modeling as an external factor
  • Custom Filters: Filter by topic, source, sentiment, or relevance

How It Works

Adverfly ingests news data from global sources (GDELT) filtered by your industry and relevant keywords. News events are stored as time-series data and displayed alongside your marketing metrics, enabling you to spot correlations between external events and performance shifts.

Use Cases

  • Context for Performance Changes: Explain sudden performance shifts with relevant news events

  • Multi-Account: Connect multiple ad accounts from the same platform
  • Custom Channels: Import data from platforms not natively supported

How It Works

When you connect a platform, Adverfly uses OAuth (or API key for supported platforms) to securely access your ad account data. Daily sync jobs pull performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions), campaign structure, and creative assets into your workspace.

Getting Started

  1. Open Integrations from the sidebar
  2. Click on the platform you want to connect
  3. Authorize Adverfly via OAuth (or enter your API key)
  4. Select the ad accounts you want to import
  5. Data syncing begins automatically

Data Bridge

Bridge your conversion data to ad platforms with one click.

Data BridgeComing Soon

Overview

Data Bridge is a one-click CAPI (Conversions API) sync that sends your conversion events back to ad platforms. This improves ad platform optimization by giving them richer, server-side conversion data.

Supported Platforms

PlatformStatusAuth Method
MetaActivePixel ID
Google AdsActiveAuto-created Conversion Action
TikTokActivePixel Code
Microsoft/Bing AdsActiveOAuth + Ad Account ID
PinterestLimited availabilityConversions API Token
SnapchatLimited availabilityContact team@adverfly.com
TaboolaLimited availabilityContact team@adverfly.com
OutbrainLimited availabilityContact team@adverfly.com

Key Features

  • One-Click Setup: Enable server-side event forwarding with a single toggle
  • Event Deduplication: Automatic dedup to prevent double-counting with browser-side pixels
  • Batched Sync: Events are sent every 15 minutes, plus a daily sync at end of day
  • Click ID Matching: Automatically captures and matches platform click IDs (fbclid, gclid, ttclid, msclkid, etc.)
  • Delivery Status: Monitor event delivery rates and error logs per platform

How It Works

When Data Bridge is enabled, Adverfly captures conversion events via the tracking pixel and forwards them server-side to the configured ad platforms using their Conversions APIs. This bypasses browser limitations (ad blockers, cookie restrictions) and improves match rates.

Use Cases

  • Improved Attribution: Give ad platforms richer conversion data for better campaign optimization
  • Higher Match Rates: Server-side events have higher user match rates than browser pixels alone
  • Ad Blocker Recovery: Capture events that browser-side pixels miss due to ad blockers
  • Privacy Compliance: Server-side event sending gives you more control over data flow

Getting Started

  1. Open Workspace Settings > Data Bridge
  2. Toggle on the platforms you want to enable
  3. Enter the required credentials (Pixel ID, Pixel Code, etc.)
  4. Conversions will begin syncing within 15 minutes

Data Exports

Generate API keys to access your marketing data programmatically.

Data ExportsComing Soon

Overview

Data Exports lets you generate API credentials to access your Adverfly data programmatically. Create API keys, manage access, and use the built-in documentation to query events, sessions, conversions, and ad performance data via the REST API.

Key Features

  • API Key Management: Generate, name, and revoke API credentials
  • Client Secret Security: Client secrets are shown only once at creation — download or copy immediately
  • Built-In API Docs: View available endpoints, parameters, and example requests directly in the app
  • Multiple Keys: Create multiple API keys for different use cases or team members

All endpoints use the base URL https://api.adverfly.com with header authentication:

EndpointDescription
GET /v3/eventsPageviews, clicks, and custom events
GET /v3/sessionsUser sessions with entry/exit pages
GET /v3/conversionsPurchase and conversion events
GET /v3/adsAd performance data (spend, impressions, clicks, reach)

Authentication

Every request requires two headers:

  • x-api-key — Your API key
  • client-secret — Your client secret

Common Parameters

ParameterDescription
start_dateStart of date range (YYYY-MM-DD)
end_dateEnd of date range (YYYY-MM-DD)
nameFilter by event name
sourceComma-separated ad sources (e.g. meta,google). Ads endpoint.
limitNumber of results per page (max 500)
offsetPagination offset

How It Works

When you create an API key, Adverfly generates a key pair (API key + client secret). The key inherits your workspace permissions, allowing programmatic access to the same data you see in the dashboard. Use the credentials in your scripts, data pipelines, or BI tools to query Adverfly data.

Use Cases

  • Data Pipelines: Pull data into your data warehouse or BI tools
